The Palm Riviera is a beautiful part of Liguria. Here is the town of Loano located about 40 kilometers away from the Imperia. In this village in the province of Savona one can spend a memorable holiday. Big and little, singles and families feel very comfortable here. All this possible due to the wonderful sandy beach and the magnificent coastal strip, stretching along Loano. Here you can spend hours strolling or enjoy a whole day at the beach. Loano is an excellent vacation goal. Its winding alleys and streets are home to countless treasures. The typical architecture of this region gives it a special charm.

A significant feature of Loano is the Castle, located in the heart of the old city, where you can spend a whole day. A visit there is especialy recommended for children. In the village of Loano a beautiful palace stands to the next, all historic buildings stand one by one here. Especially beautiful specimens are Palazzo Richeri and the Palazzo Doria built in the 16th century, where the City Hall is located now. A magnificent sight opens between the two towers for the tourists.

The Church of San Giovanni Battista is a significant building, too. It is in the Baroque style and opened almost all day long. Another monument of the past days is the "Porta Passorino", one of the city gates of the old city wall. Even the hotels and accommodations situated inside the historic buildings fit very well into the medieval appearance of Loano. Also the culinary variety contributes to a memorable holiday. Every Friday a weekly market is open where the regional products are offered. Slightly above Loano there is a Carmelite convent which is both from close and in a distance looks like a fairy-tale.
