The extensive community of Finale Ligure is located on the picturesque Riviera delle Palme, on the western section of the Ligurian coast of the Mediterranean. Riviera delle Palme is a popular holiday destination for bathing and water sports enthusiasts. Finale Ligure consists of the three "boroughs". Finale Ligure Marina or Finalmarina, Finale Pia or Finalpia and Finalborgo. Final Marina is a well-attended, lively resort with beautiful pedestrian zones, and a Palm Beach promenade with restaurants and bars. Among the attractions of the place are the magnificent historic homes in the Spanish style, the little Renaissance palace and the Basilica of S. John the Baptist. Particularly noteworthy is the Venetian arch at the entrance to the pedestrian zone, dedicated to Margaret of Spain. Visitors will find many good accommodations in Final Marina.
Final Borgo and Finalpia promise the kind of a quiet holiday. Final Borgo is the smallest village in the municipality of Finale Ligure. It is in the hinterland of the coast and impresses with the monumental castle of Gavone, traditional crafts streets and the Convention of St. Mary create a huge feeling of renaissance. There are many beautiful holiday cottages available in the context of the village. The village of Finalpia occupies only several terraces. The picturesque surroundings with beautiful extended vineyards and olive trees is especially suitable for hiking and cycling tours. Among the notable buildings of the monastery in the Ligurian coast there is the Church of Santa Maria di Pia, completed in the 15th century and situated outside the village.
Final Ligure is considered a fine climbing region among the sportsmen.Rocco Regina Rock that is about 80 m high attracts tourists from all over Europe here.
