Liguria, a beautiful region in Italy and it has many beautiful places and landscapes. It includes Taggia city on the Riviera di Ponente in the province of Imperia. The city of Taggia itself is located at about 39 meters above the sea level and offers a number of interesting sights which reflect its interesting and far-reaching history.
In Taggia remained ancient Roman narrow and cobbled streets in addition to the city gates through which people enter the city. In addition there are found ancient stone portals, arches and monuments. In the vicinity is located the Castle of Taggia where, however, only two towers preserved. This is a popular tourist destination especially for families with children.

Taggia can also boast of the church of Santi Giacomo e Filippo with the magnificent Baroque facade and a Virgin Mary statue. Countless beautiful palaces and villas decorate the whole city. Palazzo Lercari is a particularly luxurious example of this. The entire city offers locals and tourists many places for recreation. A walk through the Taggia streets is recommended at any time of the day, but their atmosphere in the evening hours is indescribably more beautiful.
In Taggia new buildings are well combined with the medieval town and form its cityscape. The newly formed hotels and inns offer its guests a comfortable and family-friendly accommodation.
The area also located beautiful places such as the seaside resort of Arma di Taggia with the indescribably beautiful sandy beaches around. Even the popular resort of San Remo is only five kilometers from Taggia.
