Vado Ligure with its population of around 8,500 is located in the Italian province of Savona. It is not only a significant industrial town but also a lively port city in the region of Liguria. The patron saint of the village between Savona and Torre del Mare is John the Baptist. Because of its location on the sea Vado Ligure is not a simple point on the map, but also a popular tourist destination the main attraction of which is in its unique position on the Gulf of Genoa.
